Introduction

Mr Johnson has been in practice as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for 19 years. He has an MD Thesis on joint replacement and has written a text book with an American Professor entitled “Recent Advances in Soft Tissue Knee Surgery”. Mr Johnson is also a reviewer for two International Research journals and sits on the editorial board of the world’s foremost journal for Sports Injuries: The American Journal of Sports Medicine. He was appointed as Orthopaedic Advisor to the NHS Healthcare Commission in February 2007 and appointed by the General Medical Council as an expert opinion on fitness to practice in 2009.

Mr Johnson has over 20 years experience writing various types of medico-legal and medical negligence expert reports and also has 20 years experience of court appearances. He represents claimants and defendants equally and approximately 50% of his work is now as a jointly appointed expert.

Clinics in Bristol and Newport are now available for medico-legal and medical negligence reports. The waiting time is currently only 2-4 weeks after receipt of the request, records and radiographs.
