"Mr. David Johnson of Bristol, was invited to present a keynote lecture and participate as a session Chairman for this prestigious meeting."

The bi-annual congress of the European Society of Sports Injury, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy was held at the QEII Conference Centre Westminster London on the 21-25th of September 2000. Mr. Johnson was invited to present a keynote lecture on the "surgical Approaches to the Knee Joint" in conjunction with Professor V. Muller and Dr. N. Freiderick of Basel Switzerland. He also participated as one of the meeting Chairmen for a session in which research on Anterior knee Pain and Anterior cruciate ligament Reconstruction was presented by to the congress by European, American and Japanese authors.

Mr. Johnson said, "It was an privilege to be invited to participate in what is the largest meeting of its kind in the UK and Europe, and especially as the meeting was being held for the first time in the UK."
