Author: Webmaster     Date: 1/8/2001

"The Outcome of Arthroscopic Treatment of Patellar Tendonitis is to be included as a section of the European Convention on Knee Surgery and Sports Injuries to be held in Rome in May 2002."

The European Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries, is the largest organisation of it's kind outside of the USA. It provides a bi-annual forum for presentation and discussion of the latest worldwide research in the fields of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries. David Johnson first developed the keyhole technique of arthroscopic treatment of this condition in 1990. He first presented the results of the new technique in 1992. Having now presented the details of the technique arround the world it has been adopted worldwide in sports medicine clinics as the definitive surgical technique. The European convention has recognised the development by devoting a whole session to discuss the success of this technique.
