Women’s Great Walk of China

"The longest, first ever all female trek along the Great Wall of China in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer

In April 2003 two women - Karen Churches and Máire Hanley - will start an epic journey from one end of the Great Wall of China to the other. The challenge starts at Yumenguan in the Gobi Desert and finishes 4,000 km and just over 200 days later at the Shanhaiguan Pass on the east coast where the Great Wall meets the Yellow Sea.
