The BMJ Publishing Group has launched a new online course to help patients get more from GP consultations. 'Working with your Doctor' discusses how to prepare for a doctor's appointment and what to do afterwards to achieve best results. Recent research shows that patients who are more involved in their own health care have fewer symptoms and are more satisfied than those who don't.
