NHS Faces Exodus of Experienced Doctors

"A survey for Hospital Doctor magazine has found only 23% of doctors will
remain working for the NHS until normal retirement age."
The 'Health of the Profession' study questioned 1,001 doctors, of which 60% intended to retire early. Over 84% of doctors and 89% of consultants thought their workload had increased in the past five years: 75% of doctors said their morale had plummeted in that time.
