Editorial Board of American Journal of Sports Medicine

"David Johnson is appointed to the Editorial Board of American Journal of Sports Medicine."

In February 2007 David was appointed as the first British Surgeon to the Editorial Board of the foremost journal for published scientific articles in Orthopaedic Sports Injury in the world: American Journal of Sports Medicine. This journal is published 10 times a year and distributed around the world to medical institutions, libraries, universities, hospitals, orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists and trainers. It is the leading light and directs world opinion on the best treatment for Orthopaedic Sports Injuries. For many years David has reviewed papers to determine their scientific validity and advised the editor as to their suitability for publication in the journal. He has now been honoured by being chosen as the first UK Orthopaedic Surgeon to be elected to the Editorial Board of the journal.
